Keeping Safe at Your house
I have been speaking with a lot of homeowners about the security in their home. I am attempting to gain some insight on different ways that our homes become at risk. One of the things I asked them was if they had ever witnessed suspicious activity at their house. It could be robbery, a broken window, a suspicious individual – anything really. Almost everyone had at least one story to tell me. Many of their experiences led them to get a home security system. I have been told that Security in Lake Forest is one of the more reliable choices.
One person told me that he was home for the afternoon, but then left to go pick his son up from baseball practice. When they returned home about 10 minutes later, one of the windows was broken and some things were missing from inside. He seemed to think he was being watched, and the robber knew when he left. A different mother of 3 said to me that she once opened the door for a person who claimed to be a salesperson. After the man pitched his sale, he asked if he could talk it over with her inside the house. She said no thanks, and he again replied by asking if he could still come inside and use her phone. Considering he was being so persistent, she declined again and shut the door in his face.
We have all had encounters with shady people and situations. Some experiences are worse than others, like that of the first man. The information I am researching will help me figure out what motivates people to buy a burglar alarm. The woman said she chose to get one the next day, and that she ordered from Home Security in Cuyahoga Falls.
I have learned about a lot of identical stories from other people. You never really know what can happen on a specific day. I am confident these two people did not wake up that morning assuming something abnormal would happen later that day. It really emphasizes the importance of always being prepared.
